If there’s nothing scarier than the sight of yourself in the mirror, then I think it’s time to shop for treadmills. Hands down, they’re best tool to carve the fat you might pick up while eating all that Halloween candy. To that degree, I’ve found treadmills to better than a costume when it comes to reinventing yourself. Treadmill prices seem to be coming down a bit this fall of 2024, with a number of great deals out there sweetening the pot. This Halloween, you’ll see manufacturers across the board offering price discounts, as well as extras like mats and dumbbells to go along with your purchase.

What’s great about a Halloween special is how it can dress up your home gym. I see this as a great in-beweener special in case you missed out on the Amazon Prime Days and don’t want to wait for Black Friday. It’s also the right time to be thinking about getting a home treadmill as I can see the winter months coming just around the corner. These days, the best home treadmills come loaded with extra benefits, like fans, built-in workout programs, Bluetooth speakers, and accessory trays. Whether as a gift for someone else or just yourself, you’ll find units here anywhere from under $700 to over $4,000, all on special through November 1.
Shoppers can save big on the newest treadmill models from NordicTrack, ProForm, Sole and other leading brands. The deals are usually substantial, often involving savings upwards of $1,000. We also appreciate the fact that brands frequently opt to forego the “coupon code method” in favor of slashing prices for a limited timeframe. As with years past, we’ve found some pretty significant deals on a wide range of treadmill categories across the web.
Interestingly enough not all sales are as substantial as they seem. Brands in every category (not just fitness), have a tendency to artificially inflate base prices ahead of a sale period in order to make their discounts appear more substantial than they really are. Not to worry, we’ve got you covered there. We always ensure to include the standard list price of each treadmill in our reviews, so you can see how significant each Labor Day discount really is.

I see the Sole F80 as a terrific treadmill for any kind of athlete. What’s more, it’s built to last. Priced special at $1,699.99, the Sole F80 measures 82.5″ x 38″ x 66″ with a step-up height of 8″ and machine weight of 274 pounds. It’s a folding unit, so when I pop it up it measures 44″ x 38″ x 71.5″. The maximum weight capacity is 350 pounds, and it comes with a lifetime warranty on both the frame and motor. I take both of those factors as indicators of overall quality. One of the great things about this treadmill is it comes built with a handy media rack which sits atop the 10.1″ touchscreen. This means you can bring your own tablet or smartphone to the workout, and it also offers both screen mirroring as well as a USB charger. Built into the machine are 12 total workout programs and you can sync with the Sole+ Fitness App using the machine’s Bluetooth. With a 3.5 HP motor, the unit can incline up 15 levels and reach speeds of 12 mph. The tread deck is a sizeable 22″ x 60″ and it comes with 2.36″ rollers. For more information, read my review here.
If you’re looking to move up the scale a bit in terms of extras, the Sole F89 is loaded to the max. Priced on special at $2,999.99, I can’t see much more that a person could ever want in a home treadmill, frankly. This folding treadmill is a big ‘un, so I’d recommend measuring before picking a room. The treadmill itself weighs 314 pounds and can support up to 375 pounds. With a step-up height of 8″, it measures 83″ x 38″ x 68″ when in use, and 44″ x 38″ x 71″ when folded. With treadmills of this size, ceiling height and floor stability are key, I’ve found. In terms of programming though, “wow” is the word. The touchscreen measures a whopping 21.5″ which places it near the top of the market. Like the rest of the Sole lineup, the F89 comes with an adjustable media rack for your own tablet or smartphone. The 4.0 HP motor comes with a lifetime warranty, as does the frame, which sports a full 22″ x 60″ deck atop 2.75″ rollers. Those are some of the best specs in the market in my opinion. You’ll also get a full 15 levels of incline and six of decline, speeds up to 12 mph, a wireless charging station, Bluetooth speakers, and integration with the free Sole+ Fitness App. The unit also comes with 12 pre-programmed workout routines. For more information, read here.
I see the mid-size Sole F85 as a great buy for uses of any kind, with a nice price of only $2,299.99. Measuring 82.5″ x 38″ x 66″ when assembled, the unit folds up to 44″ x 38″ x 71.5″ and weighs 294 pounds. It has an 8″ step-up height and can support up to 375 pounds, so I strongly recommend measuring your room of choice before purchasing. What I like here is a great-sized touchscreen of 15.6″ with 12 built-in programs, an adjustable media rack atop, Bluetooth speakers and Sole+ Fitness App integration, which is subscription-free. In terms of performance, this treadmill has a terrific 4.0 HP motor which warrantied for life, as is the frame, which contains big ol’ 2.75″ rollers and a 22″ x 60″ deck. The Sole F85 can incline up 15 levels and decline six, with a maximum speed of 12 mph. Like the other Sole treadmills, it contains a wireless charging station and screen mirroring. This is actually a close-out sale, as the 2024 model is coming online. So this Halloween would the perfect time to buy a great treadmill for only about $2,499. The old model is still terrific as far I can say, having been on it many a time. Right off the bat, if you like the NordicTrack Commercial 1750, then consider the 2450 a very similar model but with a 22″ high-definition screen instead of 14″. To that degree, most of the specs remain the same. You’re still looking at a 12% to -3% incline and decline with a maximum speed of 12mph, as well as iFit connectivity. The treadmills are so similar it’s quite telling when you see the pricing difference involved in the screen size. Purchase price is down to $2,499 with an extra 10 months of iFit added into the deal. That said, the 2450 does have a slightly shorter frame measuring 78.5″ x 35.6″ x 65″ and 400lb weight capacity. For my full review of the NordicTrack Commercial 2450 read here.
Priced at just $1,499 for Halloween, the EXP 10i is a great smaller treadmill for those dads who want to walk briskly or perhaps jog. Built with a shorter 55″ x 20″ deck and a smaller 2.75 CHP motor, this treadmill can hit speeds of up to 10mph and 12% incline. Like all NordicTrack models, the EXP 10i is iFit-enabled and comes complete with a 10-month trial of the program and its unique automatic trainer control. The EXP 10i features a 10″ high-definition touchscreen. Bluetooth-enabled, the treadmill is great for heart rate monitors and headphones and has a 300-pound weight max. Measuring 70.8″ x 34.9″ x 59.7″ it’s a folding model that fits easily into the home. You can read my full review here.
If $2,000 seems too much for a treadmill, a great deal is to be found here in the ProForm Pro 2000 priced at $1,499, down from $3,199. With a 10″ high-definition touchscreen built to work with the iFit workout app, the Pro 2000 also sports automatic trainer control and purchase comes with a 30-day trial. Built with premium Bluetooth speakers, you’ll get top-quality sound from the programming. The treadmill has a 3.25 CHP motor and 20″ x 60″ track, as well and can hit speeds of up to 12mph. Another great element to this treadmill is its -3% decline and 12% incline. The unit measures 77.3″ x 35.3″ x 59.6″ and weighs 262 pounds in-box with a maximum weight of 300 pounds. This treadmill’s warranty is 10 years on the frame, two years for the parts, and one year for labor. To read my full review of the ProForm Pro 2000 read here.
Folding Treadmill Deals
A folding treadmill is your go-to option when space is a primary concern, and though they generally cost slightly more than others, this batch of Halloween discounts could make some of the best folding treadmills fit your budget. Of the many options out there we’re especially fond of NordicTrack’s Commercial 1750 in this category, though depending on your needs or budget there are plenty of other solid options out there to choose from.
Treadmill Deals for Walkers
Thankfully treadmills for walkers are already the most affordable in the category, though there’s nothing wrong with a little additional discount, right? Our favorite treadmills for walkers have power inclines that help trainees dramatically increase calorie burn. Keep an eye out for Halloween discounts on treadmills with 55″ tracks and up to 20% incline.
Treadmill Deals for Serious Runners
In this category things start to get a bit more pricey, as you’re looking at treadmills with higher output electric motors—ones capable of speeds in excess of the industry-standard 10-12mph. When comparing the Halloween treadmill deals out there, you’ll want to consider top speed, motor output, and running surface adjustability. Many runners are also interested in power ramps; the best treadmills for runners have automated inclines, and some are also capable of decline angles as well.
Desk Treadmill Deals
Attached work surfaces and ultra-quiet motors are key when it comes to office-friendly desk treadmills. These treadmills are usually run at 2 mph to burn hundreds of calories per day—melding fitness and productivity into a single activity period. Some, but not all, desk treadmills are capable of running at more standard treadmill speeds if you’re looking to roll a proper run into your routine at lunch or the end of your day. Some have limited workout programming, but others have the same engaging workout programming found in traditional treadmills. Shopping the Halloween treadmill deals, you’ll see that popular desk treadmills have special features such as adjustable height, power strips for office equipment, and other tricks up their sleeve.
Cheap Treadmills
There are plenty of budget treadmills on offer for Halloween, but buyer beware. Low prices are attention-getting, but they aren’t always good deals. Make sure that the warranty is a good fit for the product’s quality and sale price, as the last thing you want is to buy a less reliable piece of equipment that you’ll have to replace within a year or two of ownership. For help you can see our free in-depth treadmill reviews. Also see our selection of the year’s best treadmills under $1,000.
Luxury Treadmill Discounts
Short burst sales like this one are a great time to be shopping for high-end treadmills; Labor Day discounts on top-tier models can be thousands of dollars. Though they cost more up front, luxury treadmills are very low maintenance, have especially comfortable decks and are equipped with preset workouts. They also consistently feature much longer warranties than more entry-level models. Expect to find large high-definition touchscreens, WiFi connection, onboard fans and speakers, and a host of other features not found on lower price models.
Early Bird Savings
Unlike other holiday sales, these Labor Day deals are often quite brief and announced relatively late in the game. Take a moment to browse our in-depth brand reviews and our best treadmill picks, so that you’re properly prepared once the deals start to surface.
