Despite claiming the gold and the 5,000€ grand prize, Sitko, competing in the 76KG class, was not fully satisfied with her performance. When relaying the result on her Instagram page, she wrote:

“Amazing result on a shitty day. I’m very happy with my total, but I’m mad that I only got six attempts because of stupid technical mistakes. Honestly, that third pull saved the entire day; I’d be so mad if I didn’t get it. Lessons were learned, and we won’t make the same mistakes next time.”

Sitko still shattered her previous IPF world record raw bench press by 4.5 kilograms.

Sara Naldi’s Squat Record

Naldi is the 2024 European Champion of the 57KG class and ranked second overall, winning 3,000€. In addition to winning the silver medal, her 190-kilogram squat was two kilograms more than the previous IPF world record raw squat held by Jade Jacob.
